Contact with water and sea salt can leave the zip slider vulnerable. The salt in the water can collect in the slider of your zip, blocking its use and damaging it, or the slider can oxidise, causing the salt to weld the carriage to the zip.

How can I repair a zip slider that has oxidised or been damaged by salt water?

Repairing this type of equipment is either costly or irreparable. This is where we can help!

The ZlideOn slider repairs your zip in just a few seconds. All you need to do is cut off the old slider using pliers, then open the new one as explained in our how to change my slider user guide. To finish, place the ZlideOn slider on the teeth of the zip and close it.

Does the ZlideOn slider work?

What about quality?

The ZlideOn slider is made from cast zinc, so it's strong and of good quality. Most of the original sliders on clothes are made of metal or plastic, so they are more sensitive.

All our sliders are made in Europe, and you can find them either in our shop in France (54280 Champenoux) or in our online shop. They come with a 1-year warranty.

Can it withstand seawater?

This slider has been specially designed to be seawater, washing machine and weather resistant. Once you've clipped it onto the zip of your item, it won't come off unless you unclip it to put it on another item!

The ZlideOn can stay outside all year round, come rain, shine or snow, it will cope with the changing seasons without any problems.

Is it compatible with everything?

It is compatible with almost all your items, large or small, double or single sliders, metal, plastic, nylon, invisible, waterproof fasteners... there is something for all types of fasteners, even those that are missing a tooth, the slider will still close the zip.

Can I install it myself?

Not only is the slider reusable, but you won't need to sew or cut away any part of your zip if you want to install it. Its articulated joint makes it particularly easy to handle. Instructions are supplied with the slider when you buy it, as well as a wedge to open the slider.

Simply open it, install it on your zip, clip it on and that's it - you've repaired your zip yourself!
